Bassreflex Guitar
This guitar was invented 2003 during Philipp Neumann studies to research the possibility to lower the Helmholtz resonancy while maintaining the same body size. Therefore the two side soundholes are designed as tubes like in the speaker technology which results a lower cavity resonance.
The design of this guitar was awarded the Talent Prize of the Munich craft fair in 2004 and the Saxon Design Prize of the Ad rem youth jury in 2007.
